Amounts of A and B required for a mix

This tool shows the amounts of A and B needed for a given mixed amount.

Enter the following information:

  • the total amount of the mix
  • the mix ratio (by weight or volume)

The amounts of Part A and Part B required are then shown.

Parts
Parts A to 1.00 Part B
Amount of A Required: .00
[Mixed_Amount] / ( [Mix_Ratio] + 1 ) * [Mix_Ratio]
Amount of B Required: .00
[Mixed_Amount] / ( [Mix_Ratio] + 1 )

NOTE that units don't matter. The units of the A and B results are the same as those of the mixed amount. So if you enter the mixed weight in kg and the weight ratio then read the Parts A & B in kg, if you enter the mixed volume and the volume ratio in litres then read the Parts A & B in litres and so on regardless of the units.

Amounts required to fill a mould

This tool calculates the amounts of A and B needed to fill a mould.

Enter the following information:

  • the mix ratio (by weight)
  • the moulded SG of the material
  • the volume of the mould in Litres

The amounts of Part A and Part B required are then shown.

Parts A to 1.00 Part B
Litres
Amount of mix to fill mould: .00 kg
[Volume_of_Mould] * [Moulded_SG]
Part A Required: .00 kg
( [Volume_of_Mould] * [Moulded_SG] ) / ( [Weight_Ratio] + 1 ) * [Weight_Ratio]
Part B Required: .00 kg
( [Volume_of_Mould] * [Moulded_SG] ) / ( [Weight_Ratio] + 1 )
